Asia comes to us from Gerrie Hart - Shal-Mar Manchesters. Gerrie has produced quality Manchester
Terriers for over 20 years. Asia's exquisite pedigree truly represents what dedication, knowledge and
devotion to the Manchester breed means. She's a tightly line bred bitch of exceptional quality - we have
high hopes for her in the show ring (Asia finishes in style with AMTC Dist. V Specialty BOS win) and
in giving WhirlWynd it's long awaited opportunity to produce future outstanding Manchester Terriers.

June 2005 ~ Asia steps back into the show ring for the first time since late last fall following a break after producing a beautiful February litter of puppies and grabs a Group II at the Hawkeye Kennel Club in Iowa City, Iowa on June 25, 2005 under respected Judge Sally Ann Baugniet. While getting a win photo, Mrs. Baugniet remarked that this bitch has an absolutely georgeous headpiece and expression and is a beautiful exquisite bitch. "Thank you, Mrs. Baugniet", for recognition of our girl!

Since her arrival in the Midwest for the 2003 American Manchester Terrier National Specialty, where she won the American bred class handled by Shannon Gorman, Asia has shown she has what it takes for the show ring. Following the National, she has been entered in a limited number of shows with some strong competition where she has grabbed Winner's Bitch, placed Best of Opposite Sex and come up from the classes for a Best of Breed win over the top ranked Standard Manchester Terrier for 2003 (Council Bluffs KC - Nov. 16, 2003 - Entry 1-4-1-1) for her first major. August 15, 2004, Burlington Kennel Club, Asia receives her second major taking Winner's Bitch and Best of Opp. Sex with Judge Frank Sabella, commenting 'what a stunning bitch'.

Up From the Classes....

Again, Asia takes a Breed win coming up from the classes,
over a Special at Hawkeye Kennel Club show June 20, 2004
under Judge Mr. Ronald R. Krohne.

A Winning Team

2004 was a wonderful year for Lucca (left) and Asia (right) shown going BOB and BOS, respectively, at the
Burlington Kennel Club show under Judge Frank Sabella. Lucca remained ranked in the top 20 breed rankings,
& with very limited showing in 2004, Asia finished her championship in nine shows. Lucca and Asia were bred
by Gerrie Hart (CA), of Shal-Mar Manchesters and I am very grateful for her friendship and the faith and trust
she has placed in me by allowing these two beautiful dogs to share my home and become members of our family.
There is no way that I will ever be able to give back to her all she has given me. Her friendship, mentoring, her
willingness to share her knowledge has taught me a lot - that's something I can never come close to matching.

Constant Companions
Napping Buddies
Asia with my daughter, Lacey - they're best buds and pretty much inseparable.
